This was part of the "Dragonstar" series. Here, the giant ship Dragonstar carries a cargo of Dinosaurs. The ship is big enough to be a world in and of itself.
Built by aliens, centuries earlier, the discovery of the ship is a prize to the humans, who want to transport the cargo back to earth.
But, without any warning, the dinosaurs begin to go berserk, killing any human that makes contact. And the engines begin to fire up...
