Commissioned by FASA Corp, 1984. Based on the game Battledroid/Battletech.
This was bought by FASA in 1984, but I never saw this art on an actual game. Instead, it was used on an article, by Patrick Larkin and Jordan Weisman called "Before The Succession Wars" featured in the March 1985 issue of Stardate Magazine (as well as on the cover)
As with all three of this series, it was sold the moment I offered it, and became one of the top games of the time, based on the Mecha craze coming from Japan.
