In 1985, I was commissioned to do 14 box paintings for Tonka Toys "Legions of Power". It was a series of interchangable toy pieces, like Legos, that could be built in different ways.
This box was the largest, about 18" x 24" inches, with a special "Walker" (likely based on the "Empire Strikes Back" version) that was motorized, and actually did walk.
They wanted me to push the colors bright as possible, since the market was 8-14 years, and I drew on my Art Center College of Design experience studying the Goethe Color Theory for these covers.
Oil on masonite size approx. 24" x 34"
