Description
From the card game "Star of the Guradians", commissioned and published by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman 1995.
In the mid 90's, I did about 80 small, fast illustrations of scenes for the card game. This one was simply a "System" card, and I had free rein over the subject matter as long as it looked exotic enough for an otherworldly place...
I chose the well-known Cygnus system, with the large sun and dwarf companion, likely a black hole, absorbing matter from the large twin.
