This was another view of how a bridge from Alaska to Siberia might look like, across the frozen Bering Strait. The cover version is in this gallery
Because of the severe weather conditions, the bridge was sheathed with a specially hardened concrete, over a steel skeleton, with very strong base, to withstand the ice floes. Tube trains are located beneath the road (cutaway), for all-weather continuous traffic.
